Greetings Florida Troops and Spouses to Teachers Participants:To keep you up to date on new offerings towards your certification, we are providing information on the following new programs!Reading EndorsementReading proficiency is a priority in Florida . Therefore there is a critical shortage of reading teachers. To assist the state in meeting the demand for reading teachers, the University of West Florida has develop five online reading courses. The program is designed to provide educators with the knowledge and skills necessary for teaching reading and understanding reading pedagogy. Specifically, students who successfully complete these courses will be eligible for the Florida Reading Endorsement and the course will transfer into the universities Comprehensive Mater’s Degree.
